A heaping plate of fresh ceviche, served with prompt service and a warm smile, Peruvian style. Moy Deliscioso! Sweet potato cooked and cooled to absolute perfection and corn like I’ve never experienced. Definitely worth it if you like huge chucks of freshly prepared seafood tossed in spicy sauce. I don’t think you can go wrong here. The menu is well organized and well represents expectations. If you like French fries as much as I do I also recommend trying the yucca fries. So yumma.

Love love love this place! Great food, well prepared, best flavors, sauces and seasonings, looove their spicy green sauce and their house salad dressing. Never had a bad item off the menu, taste as great as a home cooked meal. Customer service is always efficient and on point and food is surprisingly quickly prepared for such amazing quality! They have their system down to a science! I wish I had a location near my home in Bmore, I'd eat here several times a month!

The Lomo Saltado and the Chicharonnes de Pollo were fantastic. The meat was flavorful, not dry at all, and the seasoning on the chicken was amazing. Fresh and flavorful vegetables, and their mild sauce is delicious as well. I tried fried plantains for the first time--also delicious! This was my first time having Peruvian food and I'd absolutely go there again.

Pollo Cabana was a revelation in a strip mall. I like Peruvian food- but this was one of my favourite meals, ever. The bite of the ceviche was perfectly balanced by the sweet potato and two kinds of corn, a salty, roasted variety and Cuzco (sp?) corn, a softer, almost exploded variety. The chicken was spiced perfectly; my husband was quietly content. The extra sauces add a little extra zing if you wish. And I indulged in the dulche de leche cake. Words fail. Worth every calorie.

I love this place! I’ve been patronizing this spot for about 3 years and have never had a bad experience. (Although when I ordered last week, they forgot to add my side salad to our order. But I’m willing to forgive this one time.) The food is flavorful, juicy, tender and overall perfect. My office usually runs the gamut of what we order; some ordering salads, some ordering the rotisserie chicken, some ordering items I can’t pronounce, but every meal is always bueno!! The greens beans are by far the best side order.

Rahil, the owner and self-taught businesswoman, was inspired to open Pollo Cabana in 2011 when she was pregnant with her daughter. She was craving Peruvian chicken and could not find a restaurant that served authentic Peruvian cuisine. So she imported equipment from Peru, hired a chef from Peru, and started serving up delicious meals for her friends and family.
